Volunteers also have the opportunity to join the hospital auxiliary. Auxiliary members participate in many fund-raising activities and donate many hours of service. Volunteering is a uniquely personal experience. If you feel strongly about volunteering in your own community, you might choose the facility closest to your home. Otherwise, there are many programs within each facility that may be of interest to you. The best way to get started in a rewarding volunteer position is to contact your local volunteer office below. |
