Those were the words that started the nine-year run for Marie
Crimi Roser as a trustee on the Little Company of Mary Community Health
Foundation Board, beginning in 1994. Rosers gratitude for the loving

of Mary Sisters and their dedication to the care of the sick and dying, prompted

Born to tailors working on the lower east side of Manhattan, Roser internalized
the teaching that education and hard work can result in success. After moving to
Los Angeles, Roser combined family life and business as a successful general

the Gardena Valley Chamber of Commerce-including a term as the first
woman president in the organizations fifty-year history-and her
leadership role as president of both the Exchange Club of the South Bay (a
national program dedicated to the prevention of child abuse) and the
Torrance YWCA, Roser was determined to give back. After working

wonderful charm and empathetic spirit.
