Our experienced and skilled interdisciplinary team led by the medical
director, nurses, chemical dependency specialists and allied health
professionals focus their efforts on the goal of the individual
transitioning into a healthy life in sobriety.
Once the decision is made and the patient is admitted to Peninsula Recovery
Center, thorough personal evaluations are completed by the nurse, physician,
primary therapist, and additional specialists, as needed, to help diagnose,
identify problems, formulate treatment goals, and deliver the most individualized
treatment care. Patients and family members actively participate in the treatment
planning process. Staff updates treatment goals for each patient based on his/her
pace of self discovery and personal recovery.
Treatment Philosophy
We treat chemical dependency as a primary, progressive and chronic disease.
The addictive process can lead to physical illnesses, behavioral problems,
mental and emotional problems, serious societal consequences and spiritual
bankruptcy.
We believe that individuals can and do recover from addictive
disorders.
The recovery journey is a process of transformation. While Little Company of
Mary Peninsula Recovery Center can not provide a cure for addictive
disorders, we do provide the individual and their family with the essential
tools needed to rebuild their lives one day at a time.
Little Company of Mary Peninsula Recovery Center provides a supportive
and healing environment that encourages individuals and family members to fully
participate in the treatment process to ensure optimal response to treatment.
A wide variety of treatment modalities are utilized.
