Torrance - Spiritual Care

Our Spiritual Care Staff offers gentle, compassionate and nondenominational spiritual care. Please call to speak with a chaplain, or to have a nurse or other staff member contact one for you. Priests and Eucharistic ministers are also available on request. A Chapel for meditation and prayer is located on the first floor of the hospital adjacent to the main entrance. Providence Little Company of Mary is dedicated to caring for the whole person — body, mind and spirit. Creating a healing environment is integral to the mission of Providence Little Company of Mary.

Our facilities provide professionaly trained and culturally/religiously sensitive Chaplains to aid in the journey to healing. We also offer a wide variety of spiritual resources and services to meet the spiritual needs of our diverse population, including chaplains who are available 24-hours a day in emergency situations.

While receiving medical care at Providence Little Company of Mary, take a peaceful and contemplative walk through our Meditation Garden. With plants and flowers from the pages of Scripture and stones engraved with words of inspiration you find a place to reflect on your own sources of strength for the journey of healing.

Nature, music and peaceful images timed to the rhythms of the day are featured on Channel 12 at Providence Little Company of Mary. Spiritual Reflections — programs to nurture the mind, body and spirit — can be seen daily from 7 a.m.
to 11 p.m.
